Andrew Wang is a New York City-based lighting designer and production electrician. A graduate of NYU, he fell in love there with theatre and the transformative power of lighting to create new worlds from otherwise blank stages.

Andrew has extensive experience working in lighting for educational and professional theatre, live events, and film/television. Notable recent projects include GREASE (Friends Seminary, 2025), HIS THREE DAUGHTERS (2024), and the 2024 Harris/Walz presidential campaign. In addition to his freelance work, Andrew is currently a staff theatre technician at NYU.
